Have you read 52? It's pretty good, and I love how it focuses on the lesser known/used characters. I don't have the 52 series. That might be a few trades to pick up next time I visit Belfast. In case you don't know, the trades come in four volumes. But, it is worth the price. It has a lot of good stuff, especially with Black Adam.

It has a lot of good stuff, especially with Black Adam. I wasn't even too familiar with Black Adam before I read Infinite Crisis, after that, though, he became one of my favourite DC characters. It was through stuff like Identity Crisis & Infinite Crisis that I came to discover how enjoyable alot of the lower-tier DCU characters were (Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Dr. Light).

It has a lot of good stuff, especially with Black Adam. Picked up all four volumes of 52 last week & started reading them on Thursday or Friday there. I breezed through the first one over the course of the weekend & started on the second this evening. Really enjoying the Montoya/Question & Booster/Supernova stories in particular.

My current obsession: The Beastie Boys--Paul's Boutique. I can't help it; that album is just amazing.
I've also become obsessed with the comic books Fables and Y: The Last Man.

I've REALLY got into Curb Your Enthusiasm lately. Now, I always enjoyed the show whenever I saw it on TV & I would always try to watch it if I knew it was on, but it's only over the last week that I went & bought all six series on DVD. I don't know why I never did that before. The show is the ultimate in discomfort viewing & I mean that in a good way. The Larry David character is, frankly, a bit of an unlikeable prick, but you can't help but sympathise with him for some reason. One other thing I'm very into at the moment is the band The Duckworth Lewis Method. They released an album entirely about Cricket (the World's dullest sport) & made it very entertaining. This isn't exactly the best track on the album, but it's the only one with an official video. If you dig them at all check out the respective bands of the two guys in the group, The Divine Comedy & Pugwash.
