I've just been wondering, do you think we here at W*I*G could sucessfully manage to pull off aomething in the vein of Cyber Sunday whereby all the stipulations/opponents & whatnot are chosen by the W*I*G-Roster (& even the Fan Nation)?
Obviously, for some people (ie. me), the planning would need to be done a while in advance so a halfway decent match against a "surprise" opponent or with a "surprise" stipulation could be put together. But I think this might be a workable concept.

I don't know if it would work. What about the people who don't get voted in as opponents?

I don't know if it would work. What about the people who don't get voted in as opponents? Well, I see it working in a WWE way. That is 3 potential opponents for whomever the Champion is at the time, the unselected opponents could get a Tag-Team title shot. Of course, this would have to be known among only the people involved to retain a the element of surprise. It's easier to work such things in real-life, I suppose.

Could work. But the voting should end a week or so before the matches are due.

The biggest potential problem I can imagine is if a challenger for one of the titles (or even just for a match) is left open to the entire roster which, obviously, would make it difficult for anyone to arrange another match at short notice if they're not picked.

I think it'd be REALLY hard to coordinate, though if we do it right, I guess it could work out alright.

I'm all for that idea.

Agreed Ratings. I'm pretty sure this is something we could figure out. With all of our brains, we should be able to get something bitchin' out of it.

I'm very much for the idea.
From prior experience, I can tell you that it's not a hard thing to pull off if planned correctly. Might I give a few suggestions?
A) Have some of the matchups already determined. This way, not every match needs to be picked from that aspect, people can feud based around that to get a feel for proper build for every match, and well...it's just easier. Let those be stipulations or special ref picks in that case. B) Leave at least 10 days between the end of voting and the show. Prep time = essential, and that'll make the show go off without a hitch. C) Potato latkes. D) Any secret matches are a need to know basis only, I agree with that.
That said, if you need help putting this together, let me know. I have some small bit of experience in running a federation.

YES! Really though, all those provisos are workable & show that such a thing could be sucessfully executed. Of course, I'm not in charge, nor am I saying that such an event needs to happen, it was just a thought I had.
