These two men wrestled in a great co-main event at W*I*G's inaugural PPV, Stuff of Legends. But they've both gone back to being Tag-Team wrestlers. I can't be the only one who is a bit disappointed by that.
Both guys easily could have been wrestling for the W*I*G World Heavyweight Championship, but they've regressed to something they should have outgrown. I know that they're a pair of "young veterans" & it's best to let the original W*I*G talent shine, but I think they've just degraded themselves unnecessarily.
Anyone else have opinions on this?

It does seem rather odd.
But then maybe they want to re-establish themselves first before instead going for a TNA-riffic run with the main belt. Kudos to them if this be the case.

Well, I am glad that the W*I*G World Heavyweight Title went to a "W*I*G Original" I just think it might've given Coltrane some extra credibility if he had taken the belt off someone like The Maxx or Andy Duke. That said, I suppose he did injure The Maxx & defended the belt against Andy Duke in a sick Barbed-Wire Match.
But look at a guy like Jason Hereford: famed as a Tag-Team wrestler, yet he took the chance & broke out on his own very successfully. Sometimes I would rather that Duke & The Maxx would be solo acts. That said, The Maxx's pairing with James Bon Jovi is very entertaining (& doesn't Jimmy Thunder & Maxx Awesome sound like a dream team?). Duke is very good as part of the King's Court. I liked his reluctant partnership with Vin Beverley & I hope they revisit that angle soon.

Forget them. What about Fannie Package. I think that she & Chaz Stone make a great team, but they'd be much better off as singles wrestlers, especially Fannie, especially if she gets even bigger. I don't want to see the two of them held back by their partnership with eachother, not when they work together so well.
