Bio: Hardcore Hensley signed an open contract with Wrestling's Innovative Genesis (W*I*G) on May 13, 2008. He debuted on the inaugural edition of Vindication.
Soon thereafter, he would begin feuding with the Innocent. At the Stuff of Legends, W*I*G's first ever Pay-Per-View (PPV), he defeated the Innocent's "big guy", Earnest. The next month, the Innocent's ringleader, Joshua, would challenge Hensley to a match himself at Date with Destiny. Prior to said event, upon a particular episode of Vindication, Hensley would formally accept the match before succumbing to a beat-down at the hands of Earnest and Rosie. Hensley would go on to lose against Joshua at Date with Destiny, handing him his first loss in W*I*G. It also, through a late stipulation change by W*I*G Owner, James E. Colvin, advanced Joshua into the W*I*G Heavyweight title picture. He would earn a slot in a fatal four-way to determine the W*I*G Heavyweight Champion at Parade of Champions. Meanwhile, Hensley would wrestle Chaz Stone, at the aforementioned PPV, to a time limit draw. Later on, he would make himself a distraction in the main event, aiding in Joshua's own elimination. The following month, Hensley and Joshua would both enter the Monster's Ball match set to main event Halloween Hell. They joined Exner, and Team Ireland's own, Shane Malone. Blinded by their deep hatred for each other, Hensley and Joshua would be unable to focus past one another to actually obtain victory. Malone would pin Exner for the win. Hensley's rivalry with the Innocent would reach it's hottest tempatures at Gives Thanks, where Hensley would challenge Joshua to a match of his concept, a match with no rules whatsoever, one in which you can only be the winner after your opponent has cried for mercy, a Mercy match. Hensley would defeat Joshua in his Mercy match after forcing him to lose conciousness with the Tazmission submission hold.
With the Innocent behind him, Hensley would go on a stint away from W*I*G, declaring that he had priorities elsewhere in need of his attention.
Hensley would make his return at 28 Days Later by interrupting Chaz Stone's, Stone's Quarry interview segment. He made his tentions perfectly clearly, even pointing out his selected target, in Shane Malone. He'd go onto defeat Malone in a grudge match at the March 29th PPV.
Strengths: Great brawler and well trained in lucha libre.
Weaknesses: Sub par technician and submission artist.
