Name: "The Big Six" Tornado Jones
From: Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 232 lbs
Alignment: Face
Age: 27
Debut: 1999
Entrance: A calliope begins tooting and whistling away to the tune of "O Canada". The man known as Tornado Jones comes to the ring, flexing and puffing up his chest mightily. He walks up the steps and to the apron, taking care to wipe the grit from his boots on the apron. He then respectfully steps into the ring and flexes for the fans once more and flashes a winning smile, preparing for the match ahead mentally.
Finishers:
Tornado Takedown (Tornado grabs an opponent's arm and pulls them downward until they are bent over. Then, he pulls the opponent towards him into a front chancery. In one fluid motion, he drives his forearm into his opponent's neck and swings the grasped arm to him, driving his foe to the ground with a facebuster. This completed, Tornado smoothly transitions into an arm trap crossface.)
Tornado Lock Omega (Over the Shoulder Boston Crab with legs in a Chin Lock)
Favorite and Common Moves:
Tornado Lock Alpha (Texas Cloverleaf)
Tornado Lock Beta (Crossface Chickenwing)
Tornado Lock Gamma (Haas of Pain)
Tornado Suplex (Spinning Stalling Suplex)
The Big Six (6 chops in the corner in rapid succession, followed by a drop kick)
Snap Suplex
All varieties of Arm Drags
Drop Toe Hold
Brainbuster
Snap DDT
Calgary Crab
Dragon Screw
Leg DDT
Tiger Spin
Oklahoma Roll
Jacknife Cradle
Cravate
Fujiwara Arm Bar
German Suplex, sometimes in series
Wrestling Style: Highly technical, with a deal of showmanship and a bare smattering of power moves.
Affiliation: Katya Magnussen
Titles Held: None so far.
Basic Appearance: Shortish, dirty blonde hair, a twisty handlebar moustache of the same color, pale skin, a hairy chest, and the look of a classic, old-school carnival strongman.
Casual Attire: Beat up old jeans and an old hoodie or sweatshirt. In character, white slacks, a white shirt, a red vest, a boater hat with red and black trim, and a red bowtie.
Wrestling Attire: Red and black striped wrestling singlet, black boots, black and red elbow and knee pads.
Bio: Born November 19th, 1981. As a young man, Cee Jones wanted only to wrestle. Except for a period of time when he wanted to drive an ice cream truck. Growing up, he watched Stampede Wrestling as a second religion. At 16, he took the first steps to achieving his dream, beginning training in his hometown of Calgary. As he picked up experience, he began touring the Canadian independent scene as Crippler Jones, taking a cue from his own idol. He ran with the gimmick for a long time, winning titles at home and abroad. Then occured the events of June 25th, 2007. Rocked by the news and the dirty details on the life of his great hero revealed by the ensuing investigation, Cee became withdrawn from the scene, nearly hanging up his boots for good. His girlfriend and long-time valet, Katya Magnussen, recently coaxed him back into the ring. Cee got back into ring shape while searching for a gimmick, training a young protegé on the side. Two happenstances later, and Tornado Jones was born, coming straight for W*I*G. But will this throwback of a gimmick stick in the long run...or are the ways of the past too ingrained into the young man's psyche?
Strengths: Tornado is a brilliant technician with decent strength, but he doesn't really need it--he can take a foe much larger than himself off their feet with ease through the use of clever positioning, countering and leverage. He is also one of the most persistent men on the roster, able to go Broadway on any match you'd call him to do. His submission work is impeccable.
Weaknesses: Striking is not his forté, and Tornado is utterly lost in a hardcore setting. He can also strap on the blinders in a match, leaving him to be waylaid by a blindside attack. Occasionally BSODs at the mention of his old gimmick. As a face, his physique is impressive, but he is not at all intimidating.
