I honestly don't know if anyone else is working on stuff. I'm sure there's a few others but the only ones I know for certain are myself & Hardcore Disciple &, frankly, I'm wondering what the hell's going on here?
There was a PPV that had to be delayed. Alright that's fair enough... but for over a month? Is that really necessary?
We all came to W*I*G for a reason. We all wanted to continue to write creatively, we all enjoy e-feds & we're all among friends here, but there's been such a lack of activity lately I'm wondering if this place hasn't died altogether. I'm still willing to write stuff & try to contribute & I hope everyone else is too. I don't want to see this place go down like EWT before it when there's still alot of stories that can be told. There are enough good writers here to make a great e-fed, but I'm just wondering how many are still on-board. We've been going here little over a year but the wheels seem to be falling off already. It seems like just when I'm getting fired up again this place dies down.
I don't know what the purpose of this rant was. Am I trying to light a fire under everyone? Am I just venting? I really don't know. I guess I just want to know if there's still any life about this place.

Yeah, I know I've been extremely bad lately as well. For why? I have no idea. But I have not given up on W*I*G and that I am trying to force myself to write.
Though, to be a total dick, I DID say doing ANOTHER PPV just a month after a PPV held this place back for a month or so was a mistake. I still hold to that. And that was the reason why I didn't do or apply for anything for the PPV.

I have two PPV matches in the bag & I could post them myself, but we're WAAAY behind time here, which is a shame for me as I know exactly what I want to do next, but it all has to wait 'til after the PPV (which should now be renamed Hannukah Hell, in honour of the season ).

First thing's first. I'd like to say that I'm sorry for not being able to actively contribute and having to delay the PPV to the extent that this has happened. I'll even say right now that I don't even have my match done, partly because I've been so busy doing other things and because I've kind of lost the will to write in the direction that everything's going.
If I can explain what I mean, I feel that we lost too much momentum way back to really propel this all very far at all. So many people dropped out of it, and only a handful of people here were regularly getting everything in on time. Are people at fault for this? I'm honestly going to have to say no. Everyone has things to be doing that take precedent and are regularly important, and in the time since the last post that I've made here, I think that's happened to some people. So many broken storylines, delays, people leaving, matches undone, etc. that it's really not sustainable at this rate. A year ago, I was enthusiastic because there was always something going on and everyone else seemed to have an intense interest in this place. Now, I can't say that it's the same, and again I have to say that nobody's at fault for that.
I've been uncomfortable with this thought, but I think that it may be best if we just outright started over. The momentum that we've lost here (Not just recently, either) can't be brought back in the shape that things are currently in, and to that end, in my personal opinion, a fresh start to everything might be the best option. What that means, even I'm not entirely sure. But I've thought about this for a while and that's my stance.

A fresh start is not what we need.
Just continuing from where we left off. A fresh start ruins all storylines, sets everything back, and makes alot of things that we've been proud of undone.
The last thing I want to do is have ties to EWT with the "start over". It is NOT realistic. If I were to watch WWE or TNA (instead of FF to just the KOs & Dr. Stevie), I would be PISSED off if one day all titles were vacant and each wrestler started a new. So that "Young Up & Comers" like Triple H, John Cena, and Batista can finally get a shot at the title.
Starting over is the easy way out. And also the lamest.

I don't mean "start over" as in retconning everything here that's happened out. To not acknowledge all that's happened here would make no sense at all, and I agree with you on that. Not to mention, I think it'd be devastating to characters. To me, it's more of an idea of either starting a new fed (not what I'd go with) or working back towards a "neutral" position so that fresh feuds and storylines can happen (which is what I think would be a better idea).
This weekend, I'm going to have some free time and I'm going to try to finish up my match. Whatever we've got by that point by the end of the weekend, regardless of what I can do, I'm going to post for the PPV.

This happened. We can sucessfully "relaunch" without taking a step backwards. Also, please re-name the PPV Hannukah Hell

Also, please re-name the PPV Hannukah Hell I was gonna suggest renaming it with one of my ideas, but that has changed. The PPV must be called Hannukah Hell NOW!!!!

ITo me, it's more of an idea of either starting a new fed (not what I'd go with) Which is the worst fucking idea, no offense, that I've heard in a long time. or working back towards a "neutral" position so that fresh feuds and storylines can happen (which is what I think would be a better idea). Which is the same thing I said. Why even finish your match if you are so quick to abandon everything and/or make a new fed? Instead of doing quick fixes, why not just let it come natural? People do the work and the fed comes back. Making a new fed makes it so that people that were in WIG or currently not here will either not know anything about the new fed. OR that they feel alienated by the change. And AGAIN, you would be throwing out all the hard work that has been done. I really do appreciate that you want WIG to come back. I can even understand the frustration involved in seeing a fed fall to inactivity (see WHOA). But what you are saying is seriously worse than "I'm closing the whole fucking place down". Instead of making committees, spending all your time making a new fed name, and other such things... Why don't you just write matches & promos? If we do anything other than a "soft reset" of keeping storylines of people that are still here... I'm gone. So is Juri, Danny, Dreia, and Mara (Yes, I write for Mara peeps.) I want no part of WCW 2000 or a new fed.

With that cleared up, yeah, I'm going to work on my match. I want to have it finished by the time that the PPV is posted, but regardless, the PPV will be up by Sunday night ("night" if you live on the East Coast).

How about neither and just do matches?
Simple as that. You are thinking far too much about needing to do something. I say this as a friend.

Just by doing matches, it's going to take a long time to get everything back in order. I'd prefer it gravitate towards that position where new feuds and storylines can take place as naturally as possible, though the "do matches" part is more or less a central component of that.

The people here that want to continue WIG will do promos and matches and storylines. Thus we will start back up again. Thus WIG will continue.
To inject a "steroid" to get it back, no offense, on your perfect schedule will ultimately kill WIG faster than "just doing matches".

I don't think either will kill W*I*G; I just think that just doing matches rather than doing that while keeping the idea of moving towards the "neutral" position to continue things wouldn't work as quickly. It's not like I'd be forcing anyone to abandon feuds or start over or anything, but as an example of what I mean, in the case for one or two of my characters, I'll try to find something fresh for them to do.
