Then why threaten anything by saying a reset?
I'm just not understanding why you have to use "BIG CHANGE" words for something that will apply only to your characters, supposedly.

Because while I'm doing it for a few of my characters, I think it'd relaunch things faster if other people worked towards that position too. Granted, if someone prefers, there is nothing that binds them to do it, but I just think it'd work better that way. That's just my opinion, though.

I personally disagree but at least we are in understanding.
Well I said my peace.

Wait...I'm confused? Are we doing like a relaunch or not?

Post them if you got them.
At least that's what I got.

As someone who's been in another e-fed as both champion and booker, I can honestly say that frankly, getting everyone to do the same thing can be like herding cats unless you make someone pay for screwing up. The main problem seems to be that noone is actually working on making the deadline. Seriously, to see people, after the extended due date, mind, admit they haven't STARTED their match...it's the sort of thing that makes the Vinnie Mac part of me want someone FIIIIRED~! I know real-life things have to take precedence, and I'm sympathetic of this, but after a certain point, you have to do what Jason's doing right now--tell everybody that you're only posting what you've got, and all else will have to wait for later--even punishing frequent slackers with program termination and such.
Granted, in my older fed, not everyone was friends already, so a lot of the punishments were aimed at egos and e-peens, because this was somewhere where the internet was SERIOUS F'N BUSINESS, YO, so your results may vary, but a total reset is not needed here, merely an adherence to deadlines. That means, to honor that, people need to work at prioritizing some of their downtime to this place to make it good, even on a lower number of writers. It works for me, is all I'm saying.
Also--Hanukkah Hell is bad, only because of Chaz's customary costume. Where in the blue hell am I supposed to find yarmulke locks in that color of red, hmmm?!

Okay, so here's my two cents--why don't we do this:
PPV is called thus-and-such...we'll go with Hannukah Hell, why not? PPV deadline is set, say December 10.
Hereford or another person of modly persuasion sets up a board entitled Hannukah Hell. As people finish their matches, they post them on the Hannukah Hell board. Once December 10th rolls around, one of the mods closes the thread and voilà, we have a PPV. It might not flow as well as one consecutive posting, but it would get done and keep the deadline in place. I suggest this because in the other e-fed I was in, we were all responsible for posting our own matches.
Just an idea.

Either way, I'll go where we need. I'm not in a position where I need to have any fresh start, since I just started.
I had my problems dealing with closing up some past commitments and some real life drama, but I feel like I can focus on this now.

It's not like he was dressed as Freddy Krueger or something (unless it was an abstract Freddy Krueger outfit). This makes no sense to anyone who has not read our match. Only problem with that is the Main Event is done & other undercard matches are not. So we'd be waiting (again) to post that one up AFTER everyone else has posted theirs & we've had this match sitting in waiting for about two months or so...

I was supposed to debut on Halloween and the PPV got postponed so there goes that. Should I just post the match regardless now?
I know I'm new and all but I have some suggestions how to get the ball rolling
*When a PPV is due, it's due and it gets posted regardless if everyone has their match in or not. If that PPV sucks, it's not going to be because of the people who made the deadline.
*If a match involves two different posters and only one person got their stuff in on time, that person not only wins the match but dictates how unfinished portions go. If you don't want your character buried then make the deadline.
*Any post that reads "Hey sorry I don't have my match but I'll have it done by x, I promise" and it doesn't happen, you're out. That's an insult to the rest of us who make the effort.
*If a person has very little time to contribute then that person needs to make the conscious effort to inform the rest of us that they'll be scaling back. That way they can still contribute but to a lesser degree that won't derail everyone else.
It might be harsh but something needs to happen before Hanukkah Hell becomes St Patrick's Day Disaster, or whatever.

I say post what you have done with a tag saying it was recorded on Halloween night or something. I mean, we don't want to have to wait another year for your debut to happen. And I wouldn't necessarily say a person is "out" if they don't make the deadline. They could be left off the next PPV or something, or, if they're a champion, be unceremoniously stripped of their belts. We do need to shape up, no doubt & I agree with most of what you suggested here as a few changes that could be implemented to make us a bit more organized.

Well, the matches that we had I've posted as the PPV. Other matches I suppose we can save for a match board or for a PPV, whichever you'd prefer.
Also, I'd personally like to apologize to Hulk for not being able to get my match part done. This sort of thing doesn't happen to me very often, which is why it bugs me that it did happen this time. That said, I am going to get the match done. Could save it for a matchboard, or could save it for the next TBA PPV, whichever would be preferable, and I'll easily have it done by then.

Yeah, I don't think "out" would work out so well for me either. Getting stripped or getting jobbed out if the other person so wills it, sure. But out just seems like more of a hassle and hurt feelings. Plus, being brutally honest, I'd probably end up being "out" sooner or later.

So, random question time--why exactly do we have to keep renaming the PPVs because they get posted late? Why not just post it as Halloween Hell 2 and say it happened on Halloween like it was supposed to. If we keep assuming that the shows don't happen IC until they get posted, it makes it seem like no wrestlers in W*I*G have done anything for months. Were we all sitting in the back playing poker and watching Chris Farley movies or something?

Like, say, The Maxx & Bon Jovi; I just have it in my head that they've been out partying for months after beating the Latin Lovers. I must write that promo, actually...
